This process is up to you —there's no technical limitation on the platform that prevents you from requesting information that may breach privacy standards. We suggest passing any new webform that requests **ANY** personal information from your users by your agency's legal team prior to publishing. ### Common tips Be wary of requesting any personally identifiable information (PII) from your users. While you may need their name and email address to communicate with them, you should not request their address or electorate. Never request any payment information. GovCMS is certified to host website information with a classification level up to **OFFICIAL: Sensitive**, and this does NOT include financial transactions. Always think about gathering the **least amount of information possible** to complete the work. Fields should also be optional whenever possible. Ideally your webform should have the **Disable saving of submissions** option checked, with the webform submission being sent via email to an off-platform system for storage.
