# How training works

GovCMS training is separated into two key areas/courses:

* **Introduction to Content Management**  (formerly known as Content Administration)**:** Focuses on creating and managing content, using moderation workflows, managing media and applying best practices.
* **Advanced Content Management** (formerly known as Site Builder)**:** Covers more advanced configuration such as content modelling, views, webform configuration, layout controls and theming concerns.

### Your training environment

When you start training, you'll be given access to your own sandbox environment. This is an isolated website that's just for you. It's **not connected** to your agency's website in any way. You can do with it whatever you like.

Don't worry about deleting something or making a mistake in this sandbox environment. If the worst happens we can easily rebuild it back to its basic form.

Your training environment will be available for 90 days. If you have any trouble accessing it after training has finished, please raise a Service Desk ticket for assistance.

Your training environment will differ from your agency's website, because each website will have its own custom fields and configuration. However, the concepts and techniques that you will learn **are** transferable across any GovCMS (or Drupal) website.
